You have legal rights if the item you bought is:
- Broken or damaged
- Unusable
- Not what was advertised or doesn’t match the seller’s description
You don’t have any legal rights if:
- It was damaged by wear and tear, an accident or misuse
- You knew about the fault before making the purchase
- You’ve just changed your mind
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods (this could be the date of purchase or the date the goods were delivered to you – whichever is later). After the initial 30 days, you can’t demand a full refund in the first instance, but you still have the right to a repair or replacement.
Faulty or Damaged Goods: Please contact us immediately upon noticing any fault. The goods can then either be replaced F.O.C. or a full refund given. Please note that fault during use, such as flooding, may require goods to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty confirmation.
Exchange goods: Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the product before returning any items. If the item was ordered incorrectly i.e. wrong size or colour then an exchange can be made within 30 days of the original purchase as long as the original item is returned in an un-used ‘as new’ condition. Postage will be charged on the returned item.
Unwanted goods: You don’t have an automatic right to get your money back if you just change your mind about something you’ve bought and there’s nothing wrong with it. However unless an item is a special order item you have 14 days to return a product as long as the original item is returned in an un-used ‘as new’ condition. A refund can be issued minus the cost of posting the item to you and a 10% restocking fee.
How To Return Your Item/s
All returns are to be paid for by the customer. Please return the item in its original packaging and make sure it is packaged in a way that means it doesn’t get damaged. We can ask you to pay if something gets damaged in transit because it wasn’t packaged properly.
Please send all returns including a cover note explaining the reason for the return, your receipt/order form to: Christal Seas Scuba, 62 Whiffler Road, Norwich, NR3 2AY.
We aim to deal with all returns and exchanges on the day they arrive, however please allow longer during peak periods.
Our return policy is within accordance with the Consumer Rights Act and Citizens Advice Bureau.
